FORCE 2009 Conference in Sielpia Wielka

On 17-22 of November I was with Karolina on FORCE 2009 Conference as FACI. It is the person who first creates and then provides sessions to delegates. First 2 days we were in pink house in Marki at pre-meeting where we checked if everything is ok, we improved all sessions and got prepared to the conference.

At Wednesday/Thursday night at 3:30 am we had a bus and then a train to Kielce.

Then we changed a transportation again into a bus and went to Sielpia Wielka. So it was the first night without sleeping! Then the conference started! 225 delegates! 25 FACIs! 4 days! And one place to achieve common goal.

FACI TEAM

For me it was first conference which gave me extremely power to work and confirmed myself in the belief that what I do is great and thanks to that I can change people, change the situation, change the world. I have met a lot of people with different personalities, different sense of humour and I had the opportunity to challange what I believe with them.

And having my first Home Group in my life - it was unforgettable experience. I have contact with them all the time and I'm sure that we will meet at next conferences and have a lot of fun.

For those who don't know - Home Group (HG) is a group of people (8-10) who work with each other, have sessions with each other on national conferences and each FACI takes care of one HG.

If you want to know more about this conference - please
do not hestitate to ask and talk with me. I will be more than happy to have the opportunity to talk with you about Force 2009.

Have a nice day and see you on next national conference!

gained skills. It took me to the world of my own dreams and imaginations. Firstly, the internship itself is going very well.
Moreover, I have a chance to utilize all the languages I studied in the university.

Secondly, my colleages at work are very friendly and
hospitable, and help me to learn more how to manage marketing systems of different countries in the
world.

Thirdly, Bydgoszcz is a very
nice city. I have already found a lot of friends here who help me to understand polish mentality and polish customs:) I feel very
comfortable in the dormitary I live in, but Iam also looking forward to moving to another place for I am kind of a rolling stone.
Finally, I wish the rest of the internship was so exciting as its begining.

Career Days Summit 2010

That was one of the weekend!!

Newly created 2010 Career Days Team from Toruń went for their first national conference on the 13th of November 2009. Neither waking up in the middle of the night (6a.m.) nor dullness of the November morning could not ruin our great moods!“Few more hours and we will meet people , who are going to create this year’s edition of Career Days, just like us!!”Little bit late; about 12.40 we finally reached our destination- Sulejów was filled with joyous greetings, hugs and even kisses.

Tomasz Szajniuk- our great boss forced us to work almost straight away. Famous WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER was confirmed once again. The nicest moment of the Friday afternoon was when the OCP’s get their blouses! They did not take them off for the next two days;)

After long hours of trainings there traditionally came time for PARTIES!!

On Friday night the theme was- athletes and their track-suits. Toruń started a game- boat race, which happened to transform into the battlefield between Warszawa and Wrocław. The contest could not been resolved though, because we unfortunately run out of the beer;)

During the Saturday night , despite the fact that we had plenty of trainings the whole day, the party exceed everything! There was no fragmentation on cities or groups. Gdańsk and Toruń establish great friendship. Shouting each other’s exclamations, singing together over the karaoke and playing the AIESEC’ers favourite game- bitches, bitches- which was lead by Głowa;)

Enormous amount of knowledge, exchange of experiences and most of all strong integration of the team is the biggest success of that conference…and for me personally- these few words sang by my team just before we left- “ We love you Asia, we doooooooooYour browser may not support display of this image. ….”

few words from LCP...

Hello guys:)

2 weeks ago I came back from Portugal, form EuroCo, international conference for all LCPs from Europe and North America. I spend there indescribable time! EuroCo appeared as the conference for me to gather with other leaders at the local level and to share challenges, develop opportunities, networking and to have a great experience that for sure will make the difference during my term. It was magic time for me!
But magic doesn’t happen on its own. If a magic wound works it’s because there is someone holding it, if a broom can fly it’s because someone is seating on it, if a potion can heal is because someone prepared it, and if EuroCo was real magic was because of amazing people that were already part of it.
In Portugal I ate great meal, I slept in beautiful hotel that was located on the cliff, I could admired extraordinary views and attending well prepared sessions and trainings but the most important is that I could met very smart, funny, different LCPs from another countries, I could share with them my experience, knowledge, GCPs and BCPs, worries and my greatest moments of being LCP:)
I wish you all such awsome international conference!!

If you have some questions about international confernces please don`t hesitate to ask:)
